README
DHTTester is the arduino uno sketch file for the uno, currently set
to take a sample a minute (can change down to 2 seconds min, sensor limit)
DHT goes in your arduino libraries as it's used by the sketch
ardlog is a perl script that just collects the data and puts it in the current
directory (wherever you ran it from in a terminal) Kill it with <ctrl>-C.
ardlog is another perl script that uses gnuplot to plot the ardlog.txt file.

non-standard perl modules required:
You'll need Device::SerialPort for linux (or have to use the windows version
for windows and make a change or two).
You'll need Graphics::GnuplotIF for the plotter, and of course, gnuplot
itself.

No, I didn't make this code general purpose. It flagrantly violates all
those rules. It's pareto optimized, my time's worth something. I am just
testing a sensor here. If you want to make a general purpose suite and a GUI,
help yourself. It's beer 'o clock now for me.

This example is a run I took beginning around 9 pm Nov 18, 2014.

The sensor, a DHT22, is hanging out my upper floor window, about
20 feet above ground on the west wall of my shop. It's going through about
20 feet of flat cable with a 10k pullup and it works anyway.
Most of the 9 wires in the flat cable are gnd. One is +5v, one is data
(somewhere in the middle of the cable).
Arduino is on USB on a raspberry pi B+ and it's own wall wart.
ttyACM0 at 115200 baud on raspian linux.

Enjoy! I'm just keeping warm inside now.
